Anies Wears A Blue Tua Jas, Blue Shirt And Red Economy Present At The Plenary Meeting Of The DPRD Announcement Of The Dismissal Of DKI Governor

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan attended a plenary meeting held by the DKI Jakarta DPRD regarding the Announcement of the Dismissal of Regional Heads and Deputy Regional Heads whose term of office ends in 2022.

Anies entered the DKI Jakarta DPRD building with the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria. Anies wore a dark blue suit, a light blue shirt, combined with a red tie. Meanwhile, Riza wore a black suit, a white shirt, and a red tie.

Before entering the plenary meeting room, Anies and Riza were rushed to the transit room while waiting for a plenary meeting regarding the announcement of their dismissal as Governor of DKI Jakarta.

Previously, Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Rani Mauliani asked DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to attend a plenary meeting to announce the dismissal of the Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta.

"In that case, he should be present, yes. On that day we want to announce him. But, if he doesn't come, it's his own right. So, just encourage him to come," Rani said at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Monday, September 12.

Rani said this plenary meeting was an implementation of Circular Letter Number 131/2188/OTDA of the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the Proposal for Dismissal of Regional Heads and Deputy Regional Heads whose Positions Ended in 2022.

The terms of office of Anies Baswedan and Ahmad Riza Patria are known to end on October 16, 2022. So, starting from October 17 to the 2024 election, Jakarta will be led by the Acting Governor of DKI.

At the plenary meeting, the DPRD attached minutes and minutes. The implementation of the plenary meeting is intended to submit proposals by the leadership of the DPRD to the President through the Minister of Home Affairs in order to get a dismissal determination.

"So, the announcement of the governor's final period is 30 days before the end of the term of duty. So, only carry out the existing mechanism," he said.
