SUMUT - Tebing Tinggi Police Narcotics Unit personnel arrested two men selling methamphetamine and marijuana in Tinokah Village, Sipispis District, Serdang Bedagai (Sergai) Regency, North Sumatra (North Sumatra).

The two men had the initials MS (39) and LS (49), two residents of Serbananti Village, Sipispis District.

Head of Public Relations of the Tebing Tinggi Police, AKP Agus Arianto, said that the arrests of the two perpetrators of MS and LS in Tinokah Village were precisely in a hut on an oil palm plantation.

Officers confiscated evidence in the form of a black plastic package wrapped in brown duct tape containing leaves, seeds, dry twigs, suspected of being narcotics of the type of marijuana with a gross weight of 689.06 grams, and a net weight of 668.5 grams.

In addition, 12 white paper packs containing leaves, seeds, suspected branches of marijuana with a gross of 36.10 grams and a net of 31, 3 grams.

Then, 13 packs of white paper containing leaves, seeds, dry branches suspected of being marijuana with a gross of 18 grams, and a net of 13.58 grams.

"Three plastic clips containing crystal powder suspected of being methamphetamine with a gross weight of 1.36 grams and a net weight of 0.86 grams, a plastic clip containing crystal powder suspected of being methamphetamine with a gross weight of 0.26 grams and a net weight of 0.17 grams, a digital scale unit, a black Nokia brand cellphone, and Rp115,000 in cash," he said, quoted from Antara.

Agus said officers asked the two perpetrators, who belonged to the narcotics found. The two perpetrators admitted that the goods belonged to them.

The officers then took MS and LS along with the evidence to the Tebing Tinggi Police Narcotics Unit office for further investigation.

"The two suspects violated Article 114 paragraph (1) Subs Article 112 paragraph (1) Subs Article 111 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics," said Head of Public Relations of the Tebing Tinggi Police.
