JAKARTA - A total of 6 teenagers from the motorcycle gang were arrested by the East Jakarta Metro Police Precise Pioneer Patrol Team when they were about to carry out a brawl on Jalan Raya Penggiling, Cakung, East Jakarta, Monday, September 12.

Of the 6 teenagers arrested, the police confiscated three types of sharp weapons which are strongly suspected to be used for brawls. The arrests of the six teenagers began when the team patrolled a number of areas in East Jakarta.

While examining a number of motorists, the team received reports of dozens of motorcycle gang teenagers carrying sharp weapons who would carry out a brawl in the Milling area, Cakung.

The officers immediately checked the location. After arriving at the location, the officers immediately carried out a raid. Several teenagers were arrested while trying to escape through the swamp to escape the ambush of officers.

Head of the East Jakarta Metro Police Precise Pioneer Team, Ipda Aman Wibowo, said that while crossing the Port area there was information that there were youths who carried out convoys using sharp weapons. The team then checked and on Jalan Milling was caught.

"Secured by six teenagers with evidence of 3 sharp weapons and 3 motorbikes belonging to the perpetrators. This is a member of a gang or they are a motorcycle gang," he said.

For further purposes, the 6 perpetrators along with evidence of sharp weapons were handed over to the Cakung Police.

"They were in the swamp disbursing themselves after waiting for about 10 minutes, they went out on their own in clothes and wet pants. These perpetrators often fight in certain areas. The perpetrators and evidence were handed over to the Cakung Police," he said.
