JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) is still waiting for official information from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding the arrest of Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo.
Edhy was secured by the KPK upon arrival at Soekarno Hatta Airport after a working visit to the United States, on Wednesday, November 25, in the early hours of the morning. KPK investigators immediately led Edhy and 16 other people, including his wife, Iis Rosita Dewi, to be questioned.
"We are still waiting for official information from the KPK regarding the current condition," said KKP Secretary General Antam Novambar, in a written statement received by VOI, Wednesday, November 25.
