JAKARTA - The TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa asked his staff to immediately evaluate all aircraft belonging to the TNI to prevent the recurrence of aircraft accidents, such as the crash of a Bonanza G-36 T-2503 Navy trainer aircraft in the Madura Strait. "Evaluation must be used to minimize accidents as much as possible," the Commander said to reporters at the Naval Expo 2022 event in commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of the Indonesian Navy (AL) at the Samudera Hall, Jakarta, Antara, Sunday, September 11. General Andika Perkasa said that his party would also cooperate with the National Committee for Tranportation Accidents (KNKT) in carrying out every investigation into aircraft accidents so that the results of the investigation were transparent. "We will be transparent. Since the incident of the T-50i Air Force (AU) plane crash, not long ago around Iswahjudi Madiun and now, the Bonanza plane, we have involved KNKT so that it is also transparent," said Andika. Previously, on Wednesday, September 7 at around 09.30 WIB, the Indonesian Navy's Bonanza plane had an accident and crashed at the West Pelayaan Alur Surabaya (APBS), East Java. In this incident, two Indonesian Navy soldiers, namely Marine Captain (posthumous) Judistira Eka Permady, and Marine Lieutenant One (posthumous) commissioner Dendy Kresna Bhakti, died. On Friday, the Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono said that the Navy involved the KNKT to investigate the Bonanza plane crash. "With the aircraft body that has been found, we formed a team and involved KNKT," said Kasal Yudo while attending the funeral of two Indonesian Navy pilots at the Happy Cemetery of the East Region of the Indonesian Navy, Gisik Cemandi Village, Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. He also said that all Bonanza G-36 T-2503 Indonesian Navy trainer aircraft are currently not operating first while waiting for the investigation.
