JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government fully supports innovation or development, as well as socialization of digitalization in payment transactions or non-cash payments in Jakarta. One of these efforts was intensified at the Cash Free Day event which intensified non-cash transactions as a method of paying people's consumption at MSME outlets. Riza said, socialization by taking advantage of momentum like today has a big impact in instilling habits in the community. "In the beginning, we really had to increase socialization, provide understanding, and be accepted and carried out by the community and one day it will become a habit. Changes are not easy, but with various strategies everything can lead to these changes," said Riza in Thamrin 10, Central Jakarta, Sunday, September 11. Riza emphasized that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through Bank DKI has collaborated with Bank Indonesia to innovate to develop a payment digitization system. Therefore, Riza hopes that Cash Free Day 2022 can educate and provide socialization to the public regarding the digitization of payments developed in Jakarta City. The former member of the DPR RI assessed that the activity had succeeded in attracting the interest of the people of Jakarta to be able to experience the innovation of non-cash transactions developed by Bank DKI. "On behalf of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, we welcome, are grateful and proud that during the 3 days of Cash Free Day, Bank DKI has shown good improvement efforts through increased innovation. We invite to support various programs that have been launched by the DKI Provincial Government through Bank DKI in supporting the development of MSMEs, through promotion and financing," he explained. Meanwhile, Bank DKI President Director, Fidri Arnaldy, said that his party was carrying out a transformation on the human resource side, especially having to follow the times through non-cash transactions in the JakOne Mobile application. "We make JakOne Mobile superapps, we can also open accounts here. Then, many segments are affected by COVID-19, so transactions use mobile," said Fidri. Furthermore, Fidri views that currently the use of cash or cash is getting less and less with QRIS, so the company also owns JakOne Pay. "Our segment is young people, their next generation, and all of them are digital. To support the role of young people, we hold activities, show bands, and compete in modern dances with beautiful visions, starting from elementary school we enter how about saving, why do we need to save," he said. For information, until the second quarter of 2022, users of the JakOne Mobile application have reached 1.7 million users with a nominal number of transactions reaching Rp9.1 trillion, and the transaction volume reached 10.8 million transactions, followed by QRIS transactions which grew 742 percent.
