PT Pos Central Sulawesi: Each KPM Receives Social Assistance IDR 500 Thousand

PALU - PT Pos Indonesia Central Sulawesi Branch stated that every beneficiary family (KPM) received social security assistance or social assistance worth Rp. 500 thousand from the government. Head of the PT Pos Indonesia Office Central Sulawesi Branch Muhammad Subhan said the social assistance worth Rp. 500 thousand consisted of direct Oil Fuel Assistance (BLT BBM) worth Rp. 300 thousand for September and October 2022, and basic food social assistance worth Rp. 200 thousand. "BLT BBM is given for two months September and October worth Rp. 300 thousand, plus basic food assistance for September worth Rp. 200 thousand, so the total received by KPM is Rp. 500 thousand," said Subhan on the sidelines of distributing BLT BBM and basic food assistance to beneficiaries, in Palu, Antara, Sunday, September 11. PT Pos Indonesia was assigned to distribute social assistance in the form of BLT BBM and basic food assistance to KPM, as compensation for government policies to increase the price of several types of fuel. PT Pos Indonesia Central Sulawesi Branch noted that the beneficiaries of BLT BBM social assistance and basic food assistance for the Central Sulawesi region were 209,888 KPM. Meanwhile, for Palu City, there are 17,284 KPM. The distribution of BBM BLT and basic food assistance to KPM in the Palu City area, said Subhan, has started since Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the Palu Post Office, Jalan HM Yamin. The distribution of social security assistance until Sunday (11/9), has lasted four days. PT Pos Indonesia Central Sulawesi Branch began to open the distribution of social assistance services starting at 09.00 WITA until they finished. As of 13.00 WITA, he said, as many as 7,992 beneficiary families had received social security assistance consisting of BLT BBM and basic food assistance worth Rp. 500 thousand. A total of 7,992 KPM came from Donggala as many as 1,160 KPM, Palu City 3,011 KPM, Morowali 82 KPM, Parigi Moutong 635 KPM, Poso 187 KPM, Sigi 2,111 KPM, Tolitoli 806 KPM. Monitoring at the PT Pos Central Sulawesi Branch Office, the distribution of social security assistance was carried out in an orderly manner. In the distribution of PT Pos Indonesia officers assisted by each social worker formed by the Ministry of Social Affairs in each kelurahan and sub-district. "Residents registered as KPM must bring their ID cards or family cards in the technical receipt of social assistance," he said.
