Gerindra Values Of Presidential Heru Budi Hartono Has Criteria Replace Anies As Acting Governor Of DKI

JAKARTA - Member of the Gerindra faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Mohamad Taufik, views that the person who deserves to be the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta in 2022-2024 is a person who meets four criteria. Taufik assessed that all the names included in the stock exchange for the candidate for the Acting Governor of DKI, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, met the criteria in question. "When it comes to the criteria for the Acting Governor, in my opinion, the most qualified thing is actually Heru," Taufik told reporters, Friday, September 9. Taufik explained the four criteria in question. The first criteria, Taufik said Heru had the competence to run the government. Second, Heru also understands the Jakarta issue because he was once an official of the DKI Provincial Government. Third, Heru also understands the condition of the government in DKI Jakarta. And the fourth criterion is personal closeness with President Joko Widodo. This, according to Taufik, is important, considering that the Acting Governor was chosen by Jokowi through the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri). "In my opinion, the most qualified thing is actually Heru because he has closeness. Why does it need closeness? Because the one who appoints the president, here. If you don't have a close relationship with the President, it's a bit difficult to manage his government," said the former deputy chairman of the DKI DPRD. Then, what about other names circulating, such as the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province Marullah Matali and Deputy IV Chief of Presidential Staff for Political Information and Communication, Juri Ardiantoro? Marullah, according to Taufik, also meets the four criteria in question. However, Taufik assessed that Marullah's closeness to Jokowi was not as close as Heru currently has. "In my opinion, he is closer (to Jokowi), there are plus points," he said. Meanwhile, at the Ardiantoro Jury, Taufik considered that he did not meet any of the four criteria. Although the jury understands the problem in Jakarta because he was once the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta KPU, he has never been an official within the DKI Provincial Government. "The jury does have close relations with the President, has the competence to understand Jakarta because of the former chairman of the DKI KPU. However, the jury has no experience managing the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government," he added.
