LAMPUNG - The Central Lampung Police investigator team has submitted the case file for stage one Aipda Rudi Suryanto (RS), a suspect in the shooting of a fellow police officer, to the Gunung Sugih District Attorney, Central Lampung. "The file on the case of an individual member of the National Police at the hospital who shot a fellow member of the National Police has been handed over to the public prosecutor of the Central Lampung Kejari," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Zahwani Pandra Arsyad, to reporters in Bandarlampung, Antara, Thursday, September 8. The Lampung Regional Police are very concerned about this shooting case, so investigators are trying to speed up the completion of the case file. "Within four days the case file with the suspect RS has been resolved because we are very serious in terms of resolving this case," he said. Arsyad added that around 17 witnesses had been questioned by the investigative team for the purpose of completing the case file for the suspect at the hospital. "Reconstruction has also been carried out with as many as 21 scenes demonstrated at four crime scenes (TKP). The suspect has also admitted all his actions," added the Head of Public Relations. According to him, the suspect Aipda RS is subject to Article 340 subsidiary 338 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder. "The suspect is threatened with a maximum sentence of death or life imprisonment and a maximum imprisonment of 20 years," said Arsyad. A member of the Way Pengubuan Police Sector, Central Lampung, Adjunct Inspector of Police Two (Aipda) Ahmad Karnaen died in front of his house in Bandar Jaya Barat Village, Terbanggi Besar District, Central Lampung, Sunday (4/9) night, with gunshot wounds to his body. Bhayangkara Member of the Community Security and Order Development (Bhabinkamtibmas) in Putra Lempuyang Village, Way Pangubuan, Central Lampung, died after being shot by a fellow police officer named Aipda RS, a provost member at the Way Pengubuan Police. The police shooting case against a fellow police officer was allegedly motivated by the suspect's personal grudge against the victim.
