JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo inaugurated the Member of the Election Organizing Honorary Council (DKPP) elements of community leaders for the period 2022-2027 at the State Palace, Jakarta.

This inauguration is stipulated in Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 82/P of 2022 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Election Organizing Honorary Council (DKPP) of Community Leaders.

The inauguration began with the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya. The new DKPP members who were inaugurated were I Dewa Kade Wiarsa Raka Sandi, Ratna Dewi Pettalolo, Muhammad Tio Aliansyah, Heddy Lugito, and J. Kristiadi.

"That I will fulfill my duties and obligations as a member of the Honorary Council for Election Organizers of elements of community leaders as well as possible in accordance with the laws and regulations by referring to Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia," said all DKPP members guided by Jokowi, Wednesday, September 7.

Of the five DKPP members, some of them are former election organizers, namely I Dewa Kade Wiarsa Raka Sandi as a member of the KPU for the 2017-2022 period and Ratna Dewi Pettalolo as a Member of Bawaslu for the 2017-2022 period. Then Muhammad Tio Aliansyah was a former member of the Lampung KPU for the 2014-2019 period.

Furthermore, Heddy Lugito served as Commissioner of PT Pertani (Persero). Also, J Kristiadi is a researcher at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).

At the same location, Jokowi previously also inaugurated Azwar Anas as Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB). He replaced Tjahjo Kumolo who died due to illness on July 1.
