He explained that based on reports obtained by the police at the scene, the incident occurred at around 09.30 WITA. At that time, one of the workers named Wahyu was electrocuted while repairing the lights at one of the PJU poles.

"All of them were then taken to the Undata Palu Regional General Hospital (RSUD) for medical assistance. Two people died, namely Wahyu and Dani," he said.
"For the time being, two victims died. The accident occurred possibly due to an electrical short on the PJU light pole which was repaired by the victim," said Stefanus.
