JAKARTA - The convict in the corruption case of the construction work of the Madiun City DPRD building in 2015, Moh Shonhaji (47), turned out to have contracted one of the houses in the Mataram area, West Nusa Tenggara.

"The person concerned is in Mataram for about two years, previously he was in the East Java area," said Head of Intelligence at the Mataram Kejari, Ida Bagus Putu Widnyana at a press conference in Mataram, Thursday, September 1, quoted from Antara.

From Ida Bagus' statement, the convict was arrested by the Attorney General's Office for Arresting Fugitives (Tabur) on Wednesday (31/8) at around 20.30 WITA at Griya Pesona Housing, Adi Sucipto Street, Mataram City.

"For the person concerned, he lives here contracting with his family," he said.

Regarding the convict being executed in Mataram or Madiun, Ida Bagus stated that this would be considered again. However, the convict was temporarily placed in the Class IIA Mataram Correctional Institution (Lapas) in Kuripan, West Lombok Regency.

"Currently it will be placed in Mataram Prison, later we will consider related to the next steps (execution of detention)," he said.

On that occasion, Ida Bagus also forwarded the mandate from the Attorney General's Office regarding the names on the wanted list (DPO) to immediately surrender.

"To all DPOs of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia, we urge you to immediately surrender and be held accountable for your actions because there is no safe place for fugitives," said Ida Bagus.
