Moeldoko Invites Young Children To Nobar Winged Films

JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff Dr. Moeldoko treats young Presidential Staff Offices to watch the film Wings-Sap Patak, at Metropole XXI, Megaria complex, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, August 31. On that occasion, Moeldoko was accompanied by the Executive Producer of the film Winged Denny Siregar.

The film made by Rudi Soedjarwo tells a true story of the riot incident at the Mako Brimob Rutan Kelapa Dua Depok, on May 8, 2018.

At that time, the convicts of terrorism cases fought back and held 5 Densus 88 officers on duty. As a result of the riots, 5 members of Densus 88 died.

After watching the 109-minute film, Moeldoko admitted to treating KSP young people to teach lessons about interpreting an event. Moreover, so far the work of KSP young people is closely related to decision making.

"This film raises an event that is based on a true story. By learning to interpret events, they will get input to be able to formulate policies. Moreover, so far their work is close to making decisions," said Moeldoko.

The 2013-2015 TNI commander also said that the film, which photographed one of the members of Densus 88 who died when his first child was pregnant, had reminded him when he was the Field Commander in a military operation in Timor-East Timor.

"At that time, three of my members died. And after returning from surgery in Timor-East Timor, I faced a difficult situation when I met my wife. The same as the scene in the film. It was a very difficult situation," he recalled.

Moeldoko assessed that the film Wings-Sap Patak can be a socialization and education media for the community, especially young people, to care about an event that involves humanity.

"Anyone who sees events concerning humanitarian issues must be able to interpret the incident. This is a lesson from this film," he concluded.

The film Winged Wings of the Patah, which has been airing since August 18, 2021, has now pocketed more than 1 million viewers. The film, starring Nicholas Saputra and Ariel Tatum, has succeeded in moving the audience. Of that number, one of them is Dr. Moeldoko.
