JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin ensured that Indonesia's readiness as the host of the G20 Summit was almost 100 percent.

"I think, as stated by the Coordinating Minister (Luhut) earlier, there was indeed a coordination meeting to prepare (KTT 20), this readiness is almost 100 percent," said Ma'ruf Amin at the Apurva Kempinski Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU), Nusa Dua, Bali, Tuesday, August 30, quoted from Antara.

The Vice President gave a briefing at the G20 Summit Coordination Meeting at The Apurva Kempinski Bali's Ballroom, Lot 4, Nusa Dua. In the meeting, the Vice President asked that the agenda and services at the G20 Summit must be perfect and give the best impression.

"I heard that the previous G20 was not perfect, not good and we shouldn't repeat that. There should be no impression that the agenda we prepared and the services we provide are lacking; because this agenda brings mutual goodness, rise together, be strong together in facing various challenges and recovery," said Ma'ruf.

He also reminded that the service, accommodation, and other things can be prepared carefully, because the G20 Summit will be attended by various heads of state and heads of international institutions.

"So there must be a good impression from us, from Indonesia. From what I heard from Mr. Luhut, we are ready. This place is extraordinary, not only the service place is also good," he added.

Also attending the meeting were Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD (Menkopolhukam), Minister of Foreign Affairs (Menlu) Retno Marsudi, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Johnny G. Plate, National Police Chief Gen. Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, and Bali Governor I Wayan Koster.

The 17th G20 Summit will be held in Bali on November 15-16, 2022. The summit is the culmination of the process and intensive business of all G20 workflows (Ministerial Level Meeting, Working Group, and Engagement Groups) during Indonesia's one-year chairmanship.

The theme raised by Indonesia in the 2022 G20 Presidency is Recover Together, Recover Stronger. Through this theme, the Government wants to invite the whole world to work hand in hand, support each other to recover together, and grow stronger and more sustainable.

The three main priority issues raised at the meeting were the global health architecture, the transition to sustainable energy, as well as digital and economic transformation.
