'What's Up Bro?' Neighbors Gaze At Each Other Misunderstanding, Son And Father In Deli Serdang Persecuted To Hit Using Flower Pots

MEDAN - Rodiman's grandfather (62), a resident of Tambak Rejo, Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, was persecuted by his own neighbor. Two perpetrators with the initials LN and FD were arrested by the police.

The persecution was fueled by misunderstandings. The victim was hit with a flower pot by the perpetrator.

The victim's son, DS (25) explained the cause of this abuse. At first, DS parked the motorbike not far from the perpetrator's house. At that time, DS, the son of Rodiman's grandfather, looked at each other with one of the perpetrators.

"At that time he glared at me, yes I glared as I said what was wrong, bro. But the LN immediately approached me and immediately hit my face 2 times until my temples were swollen and torn," said DS.

Because the perpetrator was beaten, DS then defended himself until a fight between the two occurred.

"He immediately hit my father's face using a flower pot made of cement. It caused the bridge of my father's nose to bend and a wound to his jaw. At that time, my father immediately fainted," he said.

After the incident, the two immediately made a report to the Percut Seituan Police. The police who received the report immediately hunted the perpetrators.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Medan Polrestabes, Kompol Teuku Fathir Mustafa said the police had arrested the two perpetrators LN and FD, Saturday, August 27, evening.

"The perpetrator was arrested based on the victim's report at the Percut Sei Tuan Police with the report number STTLP/1560/VIII/2022/SPKT Percut Seituan," said Commissioner Fathir, Monday, August 29.

Kompol Fathir explained that the two perpetrators were taken to the Percut Sei Tuan Police Headquarters for the sake of the legal process.

"The two perpetrators have been arrested and are currently still under further investigation at the Percut Seituan Police," he concluded.
