JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) will send the head of the team of public prosecutors (JPU) to follow the reconstruction process for the murder of Brigadier Nopriasyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J.

Originally, the reconstruction of the planned demolition case would be held at the Irjen Ferdy Sambo shelter at the National Police Complex, Duren Tiga, on Tuesday, August 30.

"Later, the team chairman will be accompanied by several public prosecutors," said Head of the Attorney General's Office for Legal Information, Ketut Sumedana when confirmed, Monday, August 29.

The participation of the team of prosecutors in the reconstruction process is very important. The goal, to find out the real facts behind the premeditated murder case.

Moreover, in the murder case, Brigadier J involved several suspects. Thus, the common thread must be pulled between the suspects.

"It is very necessary, especially since there is more than one perpetrator. Let alone the case of murder of corruption cases such as bribery also requires a reconstruction process," he said.

"So that it is easier for the Public Prosecutor to carry out the process of proving in court by re-enacting every incident or legal fact," continued Ketut.

Apart from that, Ketut emphasized that the team of prosecutors and investigators from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police continued to coordinate the handling of the Brigadier J case. The goal is that the resolution of cases that have received public attention is quickly completed.

However, it was not clearly explained the extent of the completion process. Including, the completeness of the case file that has been transferred by the investigator.

"Coordination and communication have been carried out. Between the public prosecutor's team and the investigative team, because that is an important thing in the process of proving it," said Ketut.

For information, in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J, the National Police Timsus named Inspector General Ferdy Sambo as a suspect. In fact, he is called the mastermind behind it.

Then there are four other suspects, namely, Bharada Richard totaling, Bripka Ricky Rizal, Strong Maruf, and Putri Candawathi, the wife of Ferdy Sambo as a suspect.

They were charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.

Then, specifically for Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, the Police Code of Ethics Commission trial process has been carried out. As a result, the former Head of the Propam Division was found guilty and sentenced to dishonorable discharge (PTDH).
