PAPUA - Mimika Police have arrested and detained three suspected perpetrators of the murder of four civilians in Timika, Mimika Regency, Papua. Director of Criminal Investigation at the Papua Police Kombes Faizal Rahmadani said the three suspected perpetrators were detained at the Mimika Police regarding the murder of residents whose bodies were found separately in several places in Timika. "The three suspected perpetrators who were detained were APL alias Jeck, DU and R who were suspected of committing the murder on August 22 were arrested at different locations," he explained in Jayapura, Antara, Sunday, August 28. The perpetrators are suspected to be more than three people, but to ensure the need for further investigation by collaborating with other units. From the investigation carried out, the murder occurred on August 22 at around 21.50 WIT in the SP 1 area of Mimika Baru District, against Arnold Lokbere, Irian Nirigi, Leman Nirigi and another victim whose identity has not been identified. Not only that, the rental oblique that was originally used was one of the victims of the red Astra Calya Toyota without the number plate being burned. On Friday, August 26, Arnold Lokbere's body was found in a pathetic condition and the next Saturday another body was found which is also in a pathetic condition with an unknown identity. "Two other bodies have not yet been found, and what is the motive for the sadistic murder has not been confirmed," said Faizal.
