With The Status Of A Suspect, A Man Who Is 'Keplak' And Makak The Transjakarta Driver At TB Simatupang Is Admitted To The South Jakarta Police Detention Center

JAKARTA - The police have raised the status of the Honda car driver with the initials KM who beat and cursed the Transjakarta driver as a suspect. The decision occurred after his party conducted a case title.

The Acting Chief of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kombes Yandri Irsan, said the perpetrator was named a suspect on suspicion of abuse by harassing the Transjakarta driver at TB Simatupang, South Jakarta, Friday, August 26. Now KM has been detained

"Since yesterday afternoon the results of the KM status case have been raised from a witness to a suspect, (the perpetrator) has been detained since last night," Yandri said when confirmed, Sunday, August 28.

On that occasion, he explained the initial reason why KM abused the Transjakarta driver. Starting from the perpetrator who was emotional with the victim about the road lane at the scene.

"The motive based on the suspect's statement was because he was emotional because he was fighting over the road," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the driver of plate F hit and cursed the Transjakarta driver because of emotion. This motive was discovered after the perpetrator surrendered to the police.

The driver of the KM plate turned himself in to the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday night, August 26. This was conveyed by the Acting Chief of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kombes Yandri Irsan.

"Yes, last night at 22.00 WIB the perpetrator surrendered himself to the Resort Police," he said, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, August 27.

It is known, based on information from the Polda Metro Jaya, the beating by the driver of a private car against the TransJakarta driver was pure abuse.

"There is no element of traffic accidents, purely persecution," said Head of Traffic Accident (Laka Lalu) of the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Edy Purwanto.

As is known, this incident occurred on Jalan Raya TB Simatupang, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. PT Transport Jakarta (TransJakarta) also took legal action regarding this issue.

"TransJakarta will oversee the incident to be processed into legal channels," said Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of PT TransJakarta, Anang Rizkani Noor.
