The Malaysian Military Sorry For The Mogok Tank Incident That Makes A Badfeeding Of Kuala Lumpur

JAKARTA - The Malaysian Army apologized after their tank broke down on the Kuala Lumpur road and caused a severe traffic jam.

Previously, the streets in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Friday, August 26, were badly jammed due to a strike in the military tank.

At around 10.30 am local time, the command and control center of Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) tweeted that the tank broke down near the State Carcosa Series, heading for Kuala Lumpur Sentral.

He added that the middle lane was blocked.

The incident caused traffic jams in the capital city in total. The two vehicles were involved in National Day parade training.

The tank moved towards the Perdana Sungai Besi Camp. And broke down outside the National Museum after the engine died, the Malaysian Army said in a statement quoted from Channel News Asia, Saturday, August 28.

The mechanism was dispatched to the location and the tank was repaired a few hours later.

"The Malaysian Army apologized for the two incidents," the statement said.

They make sure such incidents don't happen again.

The Army said the recovery team was deployed quickly to tow affected vehicles to avoid traffic jams.

A total of 129 army vehicles were involved in the 2022 National Day parade, the Malaysian Army said.
