JAKARTA - Five suspects in the premeditated murder of Brigadier J will be presented in the reconstruction at the National Police complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta on August 30. Reconstruction will accelerate the completion of the file so that it can be submitted to the prosecutor.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that the reconstruction of the alleged murder case of Brigadier J at the Duren Tiga Complex was one of the efforts so that the file could be immediately declared complete or P-21.

"From the Dirtipidum conveys (reconstruction) to clarify the construction and events that occurred, so that the public prosecutor (JPU) gets a clearer picture and the same as the facts and statements of the suspects and witnesses in the examination report, so that the file can be immediately P-21," said Dedi in Jakarta, Saturday, August 27, as reported by Antara.

Investigators from the Directorate of General Crimes (Dirtipidum) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police have transferred the case files of four suspects in the premeditated murder of Brigadier J, Friday (19/8). Until now, it is not known whether the file has been declared complete by the public prosecutor.

"For P-19, there is no information yet," he added.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) Ketut Sumedana said the Public Prosecutor had 14 days since the file was transferred to stage one to research.

If the file is not complete, he said, the prosecutor will return the file along with instructions (P-19) to the Bareskrim investigator.

"Since the file was transferred on Friday (18/9), we are still conducting research on the case file," said Ketut.

Regarding the reconstruction, Ketut said the reconstruction was carried out in collaboration between the public prosecutor and the police.

"(Reconstruction) It is very necessary, especially since there is more than one perpetrator. Let alone murder cases, corruption cases such as bribery require a reconstruction process," he added.

He explained that the reconstruction was a method or a way to build a proof process at the investigation level after the suspect and the witness were examined.

"So, it is easier for the Public Prosecutor to carry out the process of proving in court by reorganizing every incident or legal fact," he explained.

The reconstruction of the premeditated murder of Brigadier J will take place on Tuesday (30/8) in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta. In carrying out the reconstruction, the suspects will be accompanied by lawyers. The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) will also be invited to take part in the reconstruction.

The National Police has named five people as suspects in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J. They are Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawati, Bharada Richard pudihang Lumiu alias Bharada E, Bripka Ricky Rizal or Bripka RR, and household assistant Sambo Kuwat Maruf.

They were charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 in conjunction with Article 56 of the Criminal Code. Article 340 regulates criminal acts related to premeditated murder with the threat of the death penalty, life imprisonment, or 20 years imprisonment.
