JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo tried to teach early on the campaign to protect nature and the environment. One of them gave a special mission for school students.

This was conveyed while attending the Facilities and Environmental Campaigns Preparedness for Forest Fire Control, in Tawangmangu, Karanganyar Regency.

The activity, organized by the Environment and Forestry Service of Central Java Province, was attended by more than 300 participants. Consisting of forestry extension workers, Forest Police, volunteers, fire care communities, and students.

"Yes, so we are trying to mobilize all the strengths of the LHK, the Agriculture Service, Mr. Kades, Perhutani, we mobilize all forces. Including this, there were friends who won the forestry extension competition yesterday," said Ganjar, Friday, August 26.

The movement of concern for the environment, he continued, is carried out by educating, starting from planting trees, caring for, to managing results.

In fact, the number one person in Central Java also gave homework to students who attended the event, to plant and care for trees.

The task was agreed by the accompanying teachers. Later, the school can also partner with Perhutani, related agencies, and research institutions, so that the concept of independent learning is actually carried out in the context of protecting the environment.
