After The Voice Calls 'Dear' During The Ferdy Sambo Case Meeting, Aboe Bakar PKS Reported To MKD DPR

JAKARTA - A member of Commission III of the DPR from the PKS faction, Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi, was reported to the House of Representatives' Honorary Court (MKD) regarding the 'darling' call that appeared in a hearing with the National Police Chief on Wednesday, August 24.

The woman's voice calling 'darling' was heard when a member of Commission III of the DPR Habiburokhman asked the National Police Chief about the Ferdy Sambo case. Initially, those in the meeting room suspected that the voice came from Habiburokhman's phone and he denied it. Habiburokhman said the voice came from the seat to his left, which Aboe was actually sitting on.

Aboe was then reported to someone named Bagues Yoga Nandita to the MKD on Thursday, August 25. The complaint has been received by the MKD Secretariat and MKD Experts.

According to Bagues, the report against Aboe was because the chairman of the DPR MKD was suspected of committing two violations of the code of ethics.

First, he said, seducing women when Commission III of the DPR was holding a fit and proper test for candidates for Supreme Court justices some time ago. Second, raising the voice of women from cell phones when participating in the RDP Commission III of the DPR with Listyo on Wednesday.

"First, he called a woman during a fit and proper test for a candidate for a Supreme Court judge some time ago. At that time, he was seducing a woman who was not necessarily his wife," said Bagues in a statement quoted on Friday, August 26.

"Secondly, when he attended a work meeting with the National Police Chief on August 24, 2022 yesterday. Suddenly from his cell phone a woman said 'darling'. It is not clear whether the woman is his wife or not," he continued.

Therefore, Bagues hopes that the DPR MKD can immediately summon and examine Aboe, and impose sanctions if it is proven that he has violated the code of ethics.

"If it is proven, I ask for sanctions to be given according to the applicable provisions," he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the DPR MKD Habiburokhman confirmed the report. The DPR MKD, he said, would then study the complaint.

"Yes, I just received a report from the staff in the afternoon, tomorrow (today) we will learn what the substance of the report is," said Habiburokhman.

Even so, Habiburokhman questioned what Aboe had violated so that it was reported to the MKD.

"While I'm still confused, what did Habib Aboe violate? What's wrong, right? But I'll give you a detailed explanation after reading the report," he said.

Previously, Member of Commission III of the House of Representatives from the Gerindra faction, Habiburokhman, had explained the origin of the female voice saying 'darling' which appeared during a hearing with the National Police Chief on Wednesday, August 24, last.

According to him, the voice came from the cell phone of one of the board members who sat to his left during the meeting.

"So I was suddenly interrupted by a colleague's cell phone sitting on my left and it sounded like a woman's voice 'darling'," Habib told reporters, Thursday, August 25.

Habiburokhman did not want to mention the person he was referring to. He also invited the public to see the recording of the meeting.

"I don't know, but maybe his wife called," he added.
