Commission III Of The House Of Representatives Asks The National Police Chief To Announce The Results Of Ferdy Sambo's Ethics Session To The Public

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives Prince Khairul Saleh did not question the ethics trial of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo for the murder of Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J being held behind closed doors. Most importantly, the results of the ethics trial were announced to the public by the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

"If it is closed, the results will be opened, the result will be the same as the Chief of Police. We hope that later it will be conveyed to the public, the results will be transparent," said the PAN politician, Thursday, August 25. .

Previously, the Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that the opening and reading of the verdict of the Police Code of Ethics (KKEP) trial against Inspector General Ferdy Sambo would be open. However, the material for the trial will be held behind closed doors. "We will later provide opportunities for media friends to cover the opening of the trial. Of course, the trial material cannot be covered but at the time of the commission's trial decision or verdict I will give the opportunity to friends with visuals and audio. So everything is complete," said Dedi at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Thursday, August 25.

Until around 15.20 WIB, the trial process of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) against Inspector General Ferdy Sambo had lasted six hours. However, only three witnesses have been heard.

"Three witnesses have been examined," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Nurul Azizah to reporters, Thursday, August 25.

The trial process for KKEP Inspector General Ferdy Sambo was opened or started at 09.25 WIB.

Nurul continued, the three witnesses whose statements had been heard were Bharada Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E, Bripka Ricky Rizal and Strong Maruf.

That way, there are still 12 other witnesses who will be heard.

After that, the trial commission will begin to examine or explore the statements of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

Later, after the examination is completed, all the results of the ethical side to determine the fate of Ferdy Sambo will be presented to the public. This step is called to show the transparency of the National Police in handling the case of the murder of Brigadier J.
