JAKARTA - Acting Head of the Center for Data and Information (Kapudastin) of the Ministry of Education and Culture Hasan Chabibie denied reports of leakage of data on teachers and educators who are prospective recipients of Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU).

He emphasized the news related to the leakage of data in the Basic Education Data System (Dapodik) which is the data collection point for prospective BSU recipients.

"There was no data leak in the Basic Education Data (Dapodik) system," Hasan said in a written statement received by VOI, Friday, November 20.

He said the Ministry of Education and Culture had carried out detailed searches of data circulating in the community via short messages via the WhatsApp platform. As a result, the data did not come from the Ministry of Education and Culture so that as a follow up, they would carry out an investigation.

"Currently the Ministry of Education and Culture has traced the details of the data in question and the results did not come from the Ministry of Education and Culture. So, we continue to investigate with other parties regarding this matter," he said.
