Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's Wife, Putri Candrawati, Is Sure To Fulfill The Summons For Tomorrow's Examination

JAKARTA - Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's wife, Putri Candrawati, confirmed that she would cooperate in attending the summons for questioning as a suspect. The investigation is scheduled by Bareskrim investigators on Friday, August 26. The confirmation of Putri Candrawati's presence was conveyed by her legal representative, Arman Hanis.

"God willing, PC will cooperate (attend the examination, ed)," said Arman to VOI, Thursday, August 24.

Later, in the examination process, Arman as the attorney will accompany Putri Candrawati.

In addition, Arman also said that he would take legal steps if investigators later decided to detain Princess Candrawati.

The reason, Princess Candrawati has a child who is still 1.5 years old. Therefore, it requires protection and assistance from parents.

"We will file things that are the legal rights of PC mothers," said Arman Hanis.

Previously, the Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi said that the National Police had scheduled an examination of Putri Candrawathi alias PC, the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo on Friday, August 26, tomorrow.

Putri Candrawati is being questioned as a suspect with an examination schedule at 10:00 WIB at the Criminal Investigation Unit building, Police Headquarters, Jakarta.

"(Checked) on Friday at the Criminal Investigation Unit," said Andi Rian.

Tomorrow's questioning is the first time after Princess Candrawati was named a suspect on Friday 19 August. Putri Candrawati becomes the fifth suspect in the alleged premeditated murder of Brigadier J.

Previously, the National Police had named her husband Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E, Ricky Rizal alias Bripka RR and a housemaid and family driver named Strong Ma'aruf as suspects.

The five were charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder, which is subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code. With a maximum threat of the death penalty, or life imprisonment, or a maximum of 20 years.
