For The Sake Of The Predicate Of Being A Corruption-Free Region, The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Gives A Note That The Bangka Belitung Provincial Government Fixes White Pepper Governance

BABEL - Acting (Pj) Governor of the Bangka Belitung Islands (Babel) Ridwan Djamaluddin said he was ready to follow up on the KPK's special note in preventing and eradicating corruption in its territory.

The KPK's special notes for Babylon include land certificates, the Governor's Regulation on Anti-Corruption Education and the governance of white pepper.

"We will immediately close again to follow up on this special note from the KPK, so that Babel can win the corruption-free region award," he said in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Thursday, August 25.

Previously, the KPK stated that the 2021 Babel Province Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) reached 73 percent or above the national average of 72 percent, in order to prevent corruption in the regional government.

"Overall, the Babel Islands Provincial Government's performance in preventing corruption has been good," said the Head of the Coordination and Supervision Task Force for the Lampung and South Sumatra Provinces, Andy Purwana.

He said, in eradicating corruption, the KPK developed the application of MCP, an application for monitoring the performance achievements of corruption prevention programs through improving governance.

"Not only MCP, the Babel Islands Province Integrity Assessment Survey (SPI) 2021 is also above the national average," he said.

According to him, this SPI is the KPK's assessment of the perceptions, behavior of the community and government officials in internal institutions or local government environmental agencies in eradicating corruption.

"Overall it's good, but there are some things that are emphasized and we ask the governor for help so that efforts to prevent corruption are even better," he said.
