JAKARTA - The National Police will hold a hearing on the Police Professional Code of Ethics (KEPP) to determine the fate of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo at the Bhayangkara Corps. Later, the trial will be led by a three-star general, Komjen Ahmad Dofiri.

"(led, ed) Mr. Kabaintelkam," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Wednesday, August 24.

The plan, the KEPP trial will be held on Thursday, August 25.

Inspector General Ferdy Sambo will also be presented directly in the courtroom at the National Police Headquarters.

However, Inspector General Dedi could not confirm whether the KEPP trial was open or not. The reason is that the matter will be decided by the chairman of the trial commission.

"Later, the chairman of the trial commission will decide whether the trial is open or not," he said.

Dedi gave a similar answer when he was asked about the fate of Ferdy Sambo, who was likely to be fired. According to him, this is determined in the trial process.

"Yes, from the results of the commission hearing later," said Dedi.

For information, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo is a suspect in the premeditated murder case against Brigadier Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J.

Then, there are four other suspects, namely, Bharada Richard Eliezer, Bripka Ricky Rizal, Strong Maruf, and Putri Chandrawathi or the wife of Ferdy Sambo as suspects.

They were charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
