JAKARTA - First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and Wury Ma'ruf Amin visited the implementation of strengthening the character of early childhood education (PAUD) through the profile of Pancasila students at the PAUD Learning Activity Center (SKB) Bina Insani, Tangerang Regency, Banten.

Arriving at around 08.20 WIB, President Jokowi's wife and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin's wife were greeted by a welcome dance from PAUD children, as quoted from an official statement received by the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta, Wednesday, August 24.

After that, Iriana and Wury together with PAUD children did a simulation of hand washing with soap (CTPS). The children seemed enthusiastic and did simulations while singing with Iriana and Wury.

Next, Iriana and Wury along with OASE members of the Indonesian Cabinet Maju went to the main stage to introduce various marine animals to PAUD children.

The children looked enthusiastic and excited when Iriana and Wury started introducing animals while showing the children pictures, as quoted from Antara.

On the sidelines of the introduction, Iriana and Wury also gave advice to children when they met marine animals such as stingrays. The First Lady explained that the tail of the stingray contains poison so it is advisable not to touch it.

"This tail is poisonous. Do not carelessly handle fish, especially stingrays because it is very dangerous," said Iriana.

Not only introduction to animals, Iriana and Wury also invited brave children to sing in front of the stage.

"Who dares to sing? Let's stand up," said Iriana.

PAUD children bravely raised their hands to be able to sing in front. Iriana and Wury also sang with the children with enthusiasm and gave appreciation in the form of a thumbs up to the children.

On a separate occasion, Head of Division 1 of the KIM OASE, Franka Makarim hoped that this activity could be a momentum for better recovery after the pandemic. This activity is also expected to be able to stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers, parents, and children.

"We hope that children, parents, teachers, and local residents will also be more enthusiastic and get closer to women who join the OASE of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet," said Franka.
