"The children have gone to school, the wife has also PKK," said President Jokowi's eldest son in Solo, Central Java, Wednesday, August 24.

Gibran's wife, Selvi Ananda, has attended the Surakarta City PKK Mobilization Team event at the Surakarta City Hall.

When asked about the beginning of contracting COVID-19, Gibran admitted that he did not know for sure when and how he contracted the disease caused by infection with the SARS-CoV-2 type of corona virus.

"Understand positive the afternoon after the ceremony," he said, referring to the commemoration ceremony for the 77th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2022.

"Everyone in the household is coughing, the children are also coughing," he added, as reported by Antara.

"Yesterday, everything was PCR again, the results were negative," he continued.

The mayor works from home while undergoing self-isolation. According to him, many documents were delivered to his house to be signed.

"In the future, we have to be more proactive, increase immunity. Get enough rest while continuing progress," he said.
