PDIP Says The Split Of Two Gangs Of Anies' Men Has Made ASN Work Ineffective

JAKARTA - Member of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Pandapotan Sinaga, said that the split of two gangs in the ranks of the subordinates of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan could lead to the ineffectiveness of the DKI Provincial Government ASN in their work.

This dualism was previously explained by the chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD. The polemics are the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta, Marullah Matali and the Assistant to the Government of the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta, Sigit Wijatmoko.

"With this dualism, the performance of the ASN of the DKI Provincial Government is less effective. We can see it less in synchrony. If there is a leadership that is out of sync, there will be a lot of misses," said Pandapotan when contacted, Wednesday, August 24.

Pandapotan gave an example of the ineffectiveness of the work of provincial government officials from the split of these two gangs. For example, in a meeting of the DKI DPRD Budget Board, there are often different views from the two camps.

"One example is the discussion in the Budget Agency. Right, assistants should support the Regional Secretary in the discussion," said Pandapotan.

"In fact, Pak Sigit is under the Regional Secretary (Marullah). However, the facts on the ground are like that. That's what we see. So, the space for the Secretary to move is limited during the last leadership," he continued.

Previously, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, revealed that currently there are two divisions within the ASN ranks under the leadership of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan.

Prasetyo said that the two divided gangs included a group of ASN graduates from the Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN), formerly known as STPDN, and a general group.

"Now there is a dilemma in the executive government, they already have these gangs, namely the STPDN gang and the general gang," said Prasetyo in the PDIP Faction room at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building.

Prasetyo said that the two camps in Anies' ranks are DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary Marullah Matali and DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary Government Assistant Sigit Wijatmoko, who is an IPDN graduate.

Currently, Prasetyo sees that Sigit does not seem to respect Marullah as a regional official with a higher rank than him.

"Now the regional secretary is not appreciated by assistants. It's like there is a shadow regional secretary, his name is Sigit. Losing like this, how do you want to go, this is the term government?" said Prasetyo.
