DPRD Chairman Dismantles Anies' Men Split Into Two Gangs To Create Shadow Regional Secretary, PDIP: DKI ASN Needs To Improve

JAKARTA - The chairman of the PDI-P faction (PDIP) of the DKI Jakarta DPRD responded to the issue of dualism within the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government Civil Service Apparatus (ASN). This issue was raised by the Chairman of the DKI DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi.

Prasetyo said there was a conflict within the ranks of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan's subordinates so that they were split into two camps or gangs. According to Gembong, the statement by his fellow PDIP cadre indicates that the DKI Provincial Government ASN needs to make improvements in their performance.

"We only take the positive lesson, that there is a signal like that, so the DKI Jakarta ASN needs to improve so that the stigma doesn't stick," said Gembong when contacted, Wednesday, August 24.

Gembong said that Prasetyo's statement regarding dualism in DKI Provincial Government officials could not be proven. However, whether it is proven or not, it can be used as material for evaluation and improvement.

"It's there or not, you know ASN friends. If there is, for example, it's an evaluation material. If not, it's as material for improvement. Just take the positive side," said Gembong.

Previously, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, revealed that currently there are two divisions within the ASN ranks under the leadership of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan.

Prasetyo said that the two divided gangs included a group of ASN graduates from the Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN), formerly known as STPDN, and a general group.

"Now there is a dilemma in the executive government, they already have these gangs, namely the STPDN gang and the general gang," said Prasetyo in the PDIP faction room of the DKI Jakarta DPRD building.

Prasetyo said that the two camps in Anies' ranks are DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary Marullah Matali and DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary Government Assistant Sigit Wijatmoko, who is an IPDN graduate.

Currently, Prasetyo sees that Sigit does not seem to respect Marullah as a regional official with a higher rank than him.

"Now the regional secretary is not appreciated by assistants. It's like there is a shadow regional secretary, his name is Sigit. Losing like this, how do you want to go, this is the term government?" said Prasetyo.
