JAKARTA - Member of Commission E of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PDIP faction, Ima Mahdiah admitted that she was surprised by the purpose of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan in renaming a regional public hospital (RSUD) into a healthy home for Jakarta.

This is because Anies wants promotive and preventive efforts for public health that have been built from the naming of this healthy house. However, according to Ima, until now the promotion and prevention of the disease has not been carried out.

"Until now, there has been no movement for the naming of a healthy house. It's like a name, let it boom, so it goes viral, but he doesn't fix the main problem," Ima said when contacted, Tuesday, August 23.

Actually, previous health promotive-preventive efforts have been carried out through the Knock Door Serve with Heart (KPLDH) program by the Health Office. This program is a free health service that prioritizes disease prevention, health maintenance, and healing.

Unfortunately, this program is no longer running. In fact, even though Anies has changed the name of the RSUD to a healthy house, this effort has not been carried out.

"I had time to ask the residents. Now the KPLDH is no longer running. Now people are finally confused about where to go for a check (his health) because in the past they were visited by (Dinkes) to every RW," he said.

Therefore, Ima said that Commission E would call the ranks of the DKI Health Office to ask for further explanations regarding the essence and benefits of naming healthy homes for 31 hospitals in Jakarta.

Healthy Homes for Jakarta is a manifestation of the health services of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as many as 31 hospitals. Anies also explained why he made the policy.

Anies said that the change of the name of the hospital to a healthy house at a health service facility owned by the regional government was carried out to change the mindset of the community so that they not only visited when they were sick, but also in order to maintain and improve the quality of their health.

This was conveyed by Anies at the launch of the naming of a healthy house for Jakarta at Cengkareng Hospital, West Jakarta, Wednesday, August 3.

“So far, our hospital is curative and rehabilitative, so people come because they are sick and want to get well. Come to the hospital to get well, but to get well you have to be sick first. Well, on the other hand, in yesterday's pandemic, we witnessed the importance of maintaining health. Therefore, the role of the Healthy House is added, namely the promotive and preventive aspects," said Anies.

Anies hopes that this name change will succeed in making people think that they come to healthy homes to be healthier.
