JAKARTA - A thief managed to get away with cash and gold after breaking into a house in Gang Hj Mamah, Pinang Ranti, Cipayung, East Jakarta. Based on CCTV at the scene, the perpetrator was seen walking alone down the alley of the victim's house.

"From the CCTV it seems that he (the perpetrator) walked back and forth three times. When there was no one (execution). The door was locked but not damaged, from the CCTV it didn't look very visible. When (I came home) I saw the door was closed but not locked, "he explained.

Even though it happened during the day, no one knew about it.

"There was one resident who saw the perpetrator offering water. The perpetrator was wearing a mask and a slightly closed hat," he said.

The victim will report the case to the Makassar Police for further processing.

"The perpetrator is still young, it can be seen from CCTV. This is the first time this has happened, will report it to the Makassar Police," he concluded.
