SEMARANG - The faces of members of the West Java Provincial DPRD Deliberative Body (Bamus) are happy after meeting the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo at his office, Tuesday (23/8). Ganjar's way of leading has created a good atmosphere between the legislature and the executive in Central Java.

Irfan Suryanagara, chairman of the West Java DPRD Bamus group, said that there was a very noticeable difference after listening to Ganjar's explanation. In Central Java, according to Irfan, the procedure for bamus decisions is more concise.

"The type of leader Pak Ganjar we see needs to be followed by our leaders in West Java," he said, Tuesday, August 23.

The council member from the Democratic Party admired Ganjar's ability to maintain communication between the provincial government and the Central Java DPRD. According to him, this is proof that Ganjar has experience and is able to implement it well.

“This is supported by flying hours. I, as a board member, have been very understanding for a dozen years,” he said.

At the moment of the meeting, members of the West Java DPRD Bamus asked how Ganjar managed the discussion of the long-running Raperda. Ganjar was also asked about Presidential Decree 33 of 2020.

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo said in the hearing that communication was established by prioritizing relations. Ganjar, who once sat in the legislature, understands how legislators work.

"Actually it's easy, the key is communication so it's much better," he said.

Not only providing input, Ganjar was also grateful for sharing information from the West Java DPRD Bamus regarding the schedule of work visits.

"Yes, we have learned from each other, thank God, the DPRD in Central Java is very supportive, isn't it. I think they both learn from each other to improve," he said.

After the event, Ganjar invited members of the West Java DPRD Bamus to eat at his office.
