Brigadier J's Lawyer Questions Scars On Face, Doctor Team Explains Causes Due To Bullet Reset

JAKARTA - The family's lawyer said that there were several cuts on Brigadier J's body, one of which was on the face. The forensic medical team said that from the results of the examination the wound was caused by a bullet reset.

"It's clear that it's a reset. It's clear that based on what's available, it's a reset," said Team Leader Forensic Doctor Ade Firmansyah to reporters, Monday, August 22. As for Brigadier J's two fingers, the broken left hand was not the result of abuse. The two fingers are said to have been hit by a bullet.

"That is the one whose finger is the direction of the trajectory of the bullet's trajectory, it is clear that the bullet came out of his finger," he said.

"So that's the path, if the layman's language might be struck, yes, like that," continued Ade.

Likewise, Brigadier J's nails were said to have been forcibly removed. According to Ade, no indication was found.

Because, from the examination of Brigadier J's wound tissue, all of them were caused by firearms.

"No, the nails are not removed, not at all," said Ade.

Previously, Brigadier J's family lawyer, Kamaruddin Simanjuntak said there were several scars on his client's face. It was this wound that made him doubt the Police statement that said Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat's death was due to a shootout.

"But what we found was that it was true that there were gunshot wounds but there were also cuts, there was also damage under the eyes, or maltreatment, then there were 2 stitches on the nose," said Kamaruddin.

"Then on the lips, then on the neck, then on the right shoulder, then there are bruises on the right and left abdomen. Then there are also gunshot wounds, there is also damage to the finger or ring finger," continued Kamaruddin.
