SEMARANG - The Central Java Police arrested an Instagram celebrity woman (celebgram) with the initials RM for "endorsing" an international network gambling service operating in Pemalang Regency through her social media account.

The Central Java Police Chief said that in the past week, an international network of online gambling has been revealed in Purbalingga and Pemalang Regencies.
The international network in the two regions, he said, both have servers in Cambodia.
He said the suspect was charged with Article 303 of the Criminal Code on Gambling and Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning ITE.
The Central Java Police Chief emphasized that strict action against gambling would be carried out continuously throughout the Central Java region.
