JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria explained why he did not attend the summons to the Jakarta Metro Police to be asked for clarification regarding the crowd of the Prophet's birthday event organized by the FPI leader, Muhammad Rizieq Shihab.

According to Riza, he just received a summons for clarification on Wednesday, November 18 evening with a call schedule today.

But Riza already has a work agenda that can't be left behind. The Gerindra politician then asked for a reschedule.

"I as Deputy Governor last night received a summons for clarification. It was scheduled for today at 10.00 WIB. Because I can't, I ask for Friday," said Riza at City Hall DKI, Central Jakarta, Thursday, November 19.

However, Polda Metro Jaya could not schedule Riza's clarification on Friday, November 20 tomorrow.

"On Friday, Polda has an event. So, Monday is planned at 11.00 WIB," he said.

That way, Riza admits that she is ready to attend to fulfill the examination process for alleged violations of health protocols at the Prophet's birthday in Petamburan on Monday, November 22.

"I will come, no problem. We all have to fulfill the invitation to call for clarification. We will provide clarification later according to the facts and existing data," he explained.

Previously, after conducting an examination of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, the police then scheduled an examination of Riza Patria regarding the crowd at the wedding of Rizieq Shihab's daughter as well as commemorating the Prophet's birthday.
