PKB: Prabowo-Cak Imin's Chemistry Is Very Strong, Born And Inner From The Heart

JAKARTA - The National Awakening Party (PKB) claims the chemistry between the general chairman, Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) and the Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto is very strong. In fact, before the two parties officially declared a coalition.

"The chemistry is very (strong, ed). The process is quite long. But this is inner and outer, and from the heart," said PKB DPP Chairman Daniel Johan, in the discussion 'Measuring the Ideas and Visions of the 2024 Presidential Candidates', Saturday, August 20.

Daniel said that the chemistry can be seen from the similarity of vision between the two general chairmen of the party. In fact, he said, there are three strong wedges between Cak Imin and Prabowo.

"In addition to having long experience of working with Gerindra and cadres, the strong wedge between Prabowo and Cak Imin is the first issue of sovereignty and independence," said Daniel.

Second, he continued, both Cak Imin and Prabowo both have great concern for farmers and fishermen. Third, namely the issue of national commitment and commitment to seeing diversity as a strength.

"I think the last one is the issue of national commitment, the commitment to argue to see diversity as a strength, so that there must be equality of law, rights and obligations of every citizen in the word of law, this is a strong slice of the vision of Cak Imin and Prabowo," explained Daniel.

Regarding the coalition's declaration charter, Daniel said, PKB and Gerindra had agreed to hand over the mandate to each party chairman to determine the presidential and vice presidential candidates for 2024. Currently, Daniel said, the coalition was waiting for the results of the deliberation between the two presidents.

"So now we are waiting for the results of the deliberation, the results of heart-to-heart talks between Cak Imin and Pak Prabowo," he said.
