KSAD General Dudung Review G20 Security Readiness In Belitung

PANGKALPINANG - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman reviewed the security readiness of the G20 Development Working Group (DWG) on September 7-9 in Belitung, Bangka Belitung Islands.

"The TNI is ready to assist the National Police in securing the G20 in Belitung later," said Head of Information for Korem 045/Gaya Major Inf Subkhan in Pangkalpinang as reported by ANTARA, Friday, 19 Friday.

General Dudung Abdurachman's visit in Pangkalpinang reviewed the security readiness of the Belitung G20 activities so that the implementation of the G20 development ministerial level meeting in the Laskar Pelangi country ran safely, smoothly and conducively.

"The TNI, in collaboration with the National Police and the local government, is here to create a conducive situation, so that the people are safe and peaceful during the G20 event," said Subkhan.

He explained that delegates from various G20 countries were scheduled to attend the G20 DWG, so that it could have an impact on increasing investment and the economy of the people in Belitung.

"The TNI will deploy soldiers who have been prepared by the TNI AD operations staff to make the G20 a success," he added.

Subkhan stressed that Belitung and the Bangka Belitung Islands province were safe and ready to be visited by G20 delegates, investors and tourists.

"These delegates will later see for themselves that in real Belitung is really safe, conducive, and the people are also peaceful," he said.
