Anies Baswedan Inaugurates 12 Rusunawa, These Are The Requirements For Prospective Occupants

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan inaugurated 12 simple rental flats (rusunawa), both newly built flats, and flats that have been occupied by the public.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Service, Sarjoko, said that some of the units that were inaugurated were still empty and available for occupancy. However, there are a number of conditions that must be met for prospective residents.

Among these conditions, you must be a resident with a DKI Jakarta ID card. Then, do not have a home and are already married. However, there is one flat that is intended for single residents, namely the Duck Rusunawa.

"Our flats are indeed family flats, but we also have flats for singles, there are flats for ducks so those who don't have families can access them at Rusunawa Duck. There is available specifically for singles. Then they don't have a house to live in, and their income is below the minimum wage," he said. Sarjoko said that residents who want to live in flats belonging to the DKI Provincial Government can register through the Sirukim application. Through this application, registrants need to fill out a population document to be verified by the DKI Provincial Government.

After successful verification, the registrant can choose the location of the flat that can be inhabited. With a note, the occupancy that can be selected is one that has not been occupied by other residents. Or, applicants can enter the waiting list for occupancy that is already full.

"Essentially, if the occupant position is full, if there is a new applicant, it means he or she needs a waiting list. This waiting list will increase when there are residents who leave," said Sarjoko.

Sarjoko revealed that the rental fee for the Rusunawa, excluding electricity and water payments, is charged at Rp. 765 thousand per month for DKI Jakarta residents in general. Meanwhile, for programmed residents, they only need to pay a rent of IDR 505,000 per month.

"The programmed residents are residents who are affected by urban planning or disasters. Like Pasar Gembrong, they are temporarily there, because they have prepared their own housing," he said.

However, Sarjoko emphasized that currently Anies has a policy that has freed up rental payments for rusunawa since July 2020. The policy is contained in the DKI Governor Regulation Number 61 of 2020 concerning the Granting of Relieves for Regional Levies and/or Elimination of Administrative Sanctions for User Charges Affected by the COVID-19 National Disaster. 19.

The free rusunawa rental fee due to the COVID-19 pandemic, continued Sarjoko, is still valid until the DKI Provincial Government revokes Pergub 61 of 2020.

"Currently, they are still free because with Pergub 61. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the DKI Provincial Government has given 100 percent relief for the cost of housing. It is valid until the Pergub is revoked. Right now, it has not been revoked," Sarjoko explained.

a. Revitalization of Rusunawa Penjaringan, North Jakarta. Consists of 4 towers, 20 floors, 1,010 units with 1,008 residential units of type 36 and 2 housing units for people with disabilities and their infrastructure. Currently, the rusunawa are inhabited by 909 heads of families;

b. Revitalization of Rusunawa Karang Anyar, Central Jakarta. Consists of 2 towers, 16 floors, 421 units with 420 residential units of type 36 and 1 unit of housing for people with disabilities and their infrastructure;

c. Revitalization of Rusunawa Cipinang Besar Utara, East Jakarta. Consisting of 1 tower, 16 floors, 239 units with 238 residential units of type 36 and 1 unit of housing for people with disabilities and their infrastructure. Currently the flats are inhabited by 105 heads of families who were residents of the relocation from the Gembrong Market fire;

d. Construction of Rusunawa PIK Pulogadung, East Jakarta. Consisting of 3 towers, 16 floors, 511 units with 507 residential units type 36 and 4 housing units with disabilities and their infrastructure;

e. Construction of Rusunawa Ujung Menteng, East Jakarta. Consisting of 2 towers, 16 floors, 422 units with 420 residential units type 36 and 2 housing units with disabilities and their infrastructure. At present, a draw is being held for the occupancy of the flats;

j. Construction of Rusunawa Kelapa Gading Timur, North Jakarta. Consists of 1 tower, 11 floors, 151 units with 150 residential units of type 36 and 1 unit of housing for people with disabilities and their infrastructure;

Meanwhile, the 2 old rusunawa which were also inaugurated today are as follows:

a. Rusunawa Pulogebang Milling, East Jakarta. Consisting of 3 towers, 15 floors, 522 units with 520 residential units type 36 and 2 housing units with disabilities and their infrastructure;

b. Rusunawa Daan Mogot, West Jakarta. Consists of 4 towers, 16 floors, with a total of 1,064 units, 2 of which are housing for people with disabilities and their infrastructure.
