JAMBI - The Central Police Forensic Laboratory Team (Puslabfor) investigated the location of the explosion and burning of an oil warehouse in Alam Barajo District, Jambi City.

"Yes, today Puslabfor has gone to the TKP to investigate the origin of the hotspots, their spread and various matters related to the fire," said Jambi Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit Kompol Afrito Marbaro Maca as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 16.

He said that various items of evidence had been secured for investigation purposes.

The police are now waiting for the results from Puslabfor as a clue to uncover a criminal act that occurred.

"We are waiting for the results from the Puslabfor," he said.

The results, he said, will be out in the next few days.

"In about two days the results will be sent to Jambi," he said.

Previously, the Jambi police immediately contacted the Palembang Puslabfor team to conduct an investigation at the crime scene.

Jambi Police Chief Kombes Eko Wahyudi said that the owner of the oil warehouse had the initials E.

"This warehouse has been operating for one year and the owner of this warehouse has the initials E, who we are still pursuing to be held accountable," he said.

Based on information obtained in the field, the oil warehouse belongs to someone named Pandu.
