Stealing Selfie Moments With Jokowi And Prabowo, Andre Rosiade Prays For Gerindra Chairman To Continue The Presidential Baton In 2024

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and his cabinet ministers attended the 2022 parliament's annual session, including Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.

The member of Commission VI DPR Andre Rosiade, who also attended the session at the Senayan Jakarta Parliament Complex, did not want to miss taking a selfie or selfie with Jokowi and Prabowo during the session break.

This can be seen from Andre's latest upload on his official Twitter account. In his upload, the DPR member from the Gerindra Party faction inserted a prayer for Prabowo to become Jokowi's successor in 2024.

"Together with Mr. @jokowi, the President of the Republic of Indonesia for 2019-2024 and Mr. @prabowo, God willing, the President of the Republic of Indonesia 2024-2029 at the MPR RI Session," said Andre, Tuesday, August 16. The 2022 parliamentary annual session includes the MPR Annual Session as well as the DPR and DPD Joint Sessions which have been held since Tuesday, August 16 morning.

During the trial, President Jokowi delivered two state speeches. The first speech was delivered by Jokowi at the MPR Annual Session as well as a joint session of the DPR and DPD.

The first speech was in the context of submitting performance reports of state institutions as well as speeches on the 77th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia (RI).

Furthermore, President Jokowi delivered a second speech containing an introduction or government statement on the Bill on the State Budget for Fiscal Year 2023 and its financial notes.
