MANOKWARI - The Commander of the XVIII Kasuari Military Command, Major General Gabriel Lema, announced that 1,000 points of clean water sources would be established throughout West Papua. This declaration started from Maybrat Regency.

“The TNI and Polri will continue to be ready to assist and provide clean water according to the needs of the community. Let's take care of it, let's use it," said the Kasuari Military Commander as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 15.

Following up on the TNI AD Manunggal Clean Water program, the Kasuari Regional Military Commander said clean water is an essential need of the community.

The TNI must be sensitive to the people's difficulties, especially in access to clean water for drinking and cleaning needs.

"The declaration of clean water is a concern for our common needs and we will work together for the continuation and life of the next generation," continued Major General Gabriel.

Meanwhile, Regent Maybrat Bernard Sagrim fully supports the policy of the TNI leadership for the provision of clean water facilities in his area.

"This is indeed one of the important needs that has been missed by the community, this is a good answer for us," said the Regent.
