TANGERANG - PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk followed up on cases of intimidation by chocolate thieves who brought lawyers. His party has reported the incident to the South Tangerang Police (Tangsel).

The South Tangerang Police Chief, AKBP Sarly Sollu confirmed that Alfamart had reported to the South Tangerang Police. He said the report was made on Monday, August 15.

"Yes, he is making a report at the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of the South Tangerang Police," said Sarly in a short message, Monday, August 15.

Based on the report, Sarly said that he had followed up and would investigate the case.

"Police have appointed investigators to handle this case professionally," he concluded.

Previously, PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk issued a stance through a short video. We reject acts of intimidation that are carried out against employees who have tried to carry out their duties properly. Previously, one of Alfamart's employees saw a woman taking chocolate without paying. In a video circulating on social media, he had brought the chocolate into a Mercedes Benz car driven by the perpetrator. After being reprimanded, then the mother paid for the chocolate that was taken.

"Alfamart deeply regrets that there was a unilateral follow-up action from consumers by bringing in a lawyer who made Alfamart employees depressed," said Alfamart's statement.

"Alfamart is conducting further internal investigations and if necessary, Alfamart will take further legal steps," they wrote.
