The general chairman of the Pelita Party, Beni Pramula, said that 70 percent of the party's cadres are young people under the age of 40. While the rest are considered senior cadres.

He also claimed that the Pelita Party did not formally appear as a religious party, a national party, or a nationalist party. Rather, it refers to ethics and political morals based on religion and the noble values of the nation.
"This party is an alternative party that struggles at the level of ethical values and political morality," he said.
"But we make sure that religious values must be upheld," he continued.
As chairman of the MPP of the Pelita Party, Din Syamsuddin said he would escort the young cadres of the party he founded.
