TANGERANG - A total of 73 students from various schools in Tangerang were arrested by the police for being involved in a brawl.

The South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho, said that his party detained the dozens of students on Jalan Husein Sastra Negara, Tangerang City, Thursday, August 11, at 11.00 WIB.

"We have secured 73 students from 6 schools, namely SMKN 53 West Jakarta, SMKN 1 West Jakarta, SMKN 2 Tangerang, SMKN 4 Tangerang, SMKN Yuppentek Tangerang and SMAN BDN Jelambar West Jakarta," Zain said when confirmed, Friday, August 12. .

The firm stance taken by the police was due to the fall of a victim with the initials MAM (16) with serious injuries as a result of being stabbed.

"One of the students teased the students of SMKN 53, KAMPUT ni KAMPUT, then chased by SMKN 53 students to Rawa Bamban," he said.

But instead of meeting the students they were looking for, they met other students at the crime scene (TKP). As a result, the victim, a student from SMK Excelent Batuceper, Tangerang City, who was at the crime scene riding a ride with his friend, was chased by the perpetrators.

"Furthermore, the perpetrator slashed the victim once towards the back of the right side using a sickle so that the victim suffered injuries," he said.

The police were aware of the incident and immediately went to the scene. As a result, dozens of students were arrested.

Not stopping there, the officers also secured 31 units of motorized vehicles used for the student.

It is known, one student with the initials RS (19) as the perpetrator of the stabbing, 4 other students also carried sharp weapons.

"We are still developing the perpetrators of the stabbing, including 4 students who have sharp weapons. Then, we are coaching the other 68 students by calling the school and their parents," he concluded.
