SURABAYA - The leader of the Nur Dzat Sejati Padepokan, Gus Samsudin, stated that he has been wearing sandals/shoes for seven years. The reason is because he is practicing earth science to practice patience.

"I have been seven years (not wearing sandals), at least 11 years. Because I am practicing geoscience, learning the nature of the earth to practice patience," said Gus Samsudin at the East Java Police Headquarters, in Surabaya, Friday, August 12.

When practicing this practice, continued Samsudin, there are challenges and taboos of their own, namely always eating buried food from the earth. This has to be done for five years.

"So that we can learn about the earth, learn the nature of the earth so that we can be patient. We only eat something that has been buried for five years," he said.

Gus Samsudin said this practice was created by his role model kiai. This earth science can be called Al Aufar. In addition to being more patient, it is also for body health.

"Of course, let's be healthy, because of the practice created by my kiai. I'm practicing the kharomah asthma of Sheikh Abdul Qodir Jaelani," he said.

As a result of practicing this earth science, Gus Samsudin admitted that he had been expelled by the bank. Because of that, he was forced to leave the bank, and gave up his intention to take care of banking matters.

"Once I entered the bank, I was told to leave, because I didn't wear sandals. I went straight home, didn't go to the bank," he said with a laugh.

Until now, when there is a need for the banking world, Gus Samsudin said he often asks students for help from his wife.

"If I have to, my students or my wife go to the bank, if they can't enter, they don't enter," he said.

Gus Samsudin answered the summons of the East Java Regional Police today. In addition to undergoing examination, Gus Samsudin also brought evidence related to his report against Marcel Radhival, known as the Red Magician.

"Our arrival is now being investigated as a reporter. Yes, it is still a complaint, later after interrogation or interview and investigation, there will be a next stage," said Gus Samsudin's lawyer, Supriarno.

Supriarno admitted that he brought evidence to be handed over to investigators related to defamation and hate speech by the Red Magician. One of them is video content from the Red Magician youtube.

"We brought some evidence, including a video," he said.
