JAKARTA – A woman suspected of having trouble sleeping (insomnia) fell from the 12th floor of an apartment in the Kebon Jeruk area, West Jakarta, early Thursday, August 11. The victim was found dead in a pathetic condition at around 03.15 WIB.
"The victim is known to have the initials CA, age 36. She lives with her husband there. When the incident happened, her husband was there, he was sleeping," said Kebon Jeruk Police Chief Kompol Slamet Riyadi when confirmed, Thursday, August 11.
Slamet explained that his party conducted an examination of the victim's family members to reveal the motive behind the incident. However, said Slamet, the family revealed that there was no previous commotion between the victim and her husband.
"Previously there was no quarrel with my husband," said Slamet.
The victim with the initials CA is considered depressed. Based on information, Slamet suspected that CA jumped from the 12th floor due to insomnia.
"Indeed he has insomnia, it seems the victim can't sleep and he is desperate," said Slamet suspect.
The police are still investigating the victim's death. CA's body was taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital not long after it was found lying covered in blood at the crime scene (TKP).
