Firmly Asks Officials To Stop Talking About Ukrainian Tactics, President Zelensky: War Is Not For Arrogance

JAKARTA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked his government officials to stop talking to reporters about Kyiv's military tactics against Russia.

President Zelensky emphasized, such a statement is irresponsible. This warning is related to the massive explosion that destroyed a Russian air base in Crimea last Tuesday.

The New York Times and Washington Post newspapers quoted unidentified officials as saying Ukrainian forces were responsible for the attack.

On the other hand, the Kyiv government refused to say whether they were behind the explosion.

"War is definitely not a time for arrogance and loud statements. The less detail you reveal about our defense plan, the better for the implementation of that defense plan," President Zelensky said in an evening address.

"If you want to make headlines, it's one thing, it's completely irresponsible. If you want a win for Ukraine, that's another thing. us," he said.

President Zelensky addressed this speech to state, local and military officials and others he said commented on events on the front line.

It is known that images released by independent satellite company Planet Labs show that there are three almost identical craters left over from the explosion at the air base. The ruins of at least eight destroyed planes are also clearly visible.
