Non-BRT Transjakarta Has Not Been Served Transport Integration Tariff Maximum Rp10 Thousand

JAKARTA - The use of tariffs for the integration of Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta transportation modes, a maximum of Rp. 10,000, has been implemented starting today.

The Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that the application of this integration tariff was not yet valid for non-BRT (nonbus rapid transit) Transjakarta modes outside the busway, such as Metrotrans, Minitrans, and Microtrans with scan-in tickets in the fleet.

So, for now, the new integration tariff applies to all MRT and LRT stations, as well as Transjakarta buses in the corridor or BRT.

"For Transjakarta, all of its bus stops have been integrated with the Jaklingko (integration fare) system. For non-BRT buses, not all, because there are several TOB (tap on buses) services that are used, which are services supported by Delameta," said Syafrin when contacted, Thursday, August 11.

Syafrin said that the renewal of the integration fare system on non-BRT Transjakarta buses is still in the process of being worked on. Thus, the new integration tariff can be used in Metrotrans, Minitrans, and Microtrans.

"The tap on bus system that has not yet been included in the Jaklingko system (integration tariffs), is being improved," said Syafrin.

For information, the use of tariffs for the integration of Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta transportation modes of a maximum of Rp. 10,000 has been implemented starting today. This integration tariff has only been applied through ticket purchases on the JakLingko application.

When using the integration tariff through the JakLingko application, users of transportation modes are only charged a maximum travel fee of IDR 10,000 for up to 180 minutes or 3 hours.

The implementation of the transportation integration tariff of a maximum of Rp. 10,000 was determined by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan through Governor's Decree Number 733 of 2022 concerning the Amount of Mass Public Transport Service Tariff Packages.

The initial fee for the integration fare is IDR 2,500 which will be charged to passengers when entering the bus stop, station, or passenger transport service (feeder).

After paying the initial fee, the next trip fare paid by the passenger is based on the distance traveled, which is IDR 250 per kilometer. Then, there is a maximum one-time fare of IDR 10,000.

In this condition, the passenger does not leave the mode of transportation since the first time he puts down the electronic payment instrument until he ends the trip by putting the payment instrument back on the tap out machine.

If a passenger wants to transit from one mode of transportation to another, then the transfer is done at the available bus stop or integration station.

Meanwhile, if in one trip the passenger spends more than 180 minutes of travel time, then apart from the maximum number of fare as intended, the fare package for the next trip will be calculated.
